P90X3 Yoga X
Day 3 of P90X3 is done. I have only every found one other yoga DVD that I enjoyed, the 21 Day Fix Yoga. Since then, I have found a new love for Yoga. I love the feeling of the stretch and flexibility.
P90X3 is just 30 minutes a day. After working a 12 hour shift, I did it much easier to come home and get my workout in. In compassion, hearing about the original P90X Yoga, its much shorter. I couldn't dream of doing 90 minutes of it.
Today was a Nice break after yesterdays agility. Lots of jumping and I cant forget those Plyo push ups (my arms still are sore).
To make this Yoga effective at 30 minutes, it had be made harder. Some of the more difficult moves for myself had to be the Crow. For my P90X3 users, man, Ted is fixable!!
I am a cardio queen so As much as I dislike slowing down and doing workouts like this they are much needed. You want to do the yoga for your flexibility, balance, stamina, body awareness, and core strength. It's a flow style of yoga!! It will make you stronger in all areas of X3.
Another day of eating clean and one more X on my calendar for another workout done
Tomorrow is the challenge. A workout that is going to test my strength!

| Equipment Needed for today |
Agility X- This is a full body workout that requires you to tape off the floor and do some agility work. The moves in this workout are targeted movements that really give you forced explosion, deceleration, and proprioceptive adaptations. It really is all about moving with ease and controlling your body. It took me a little while to get the hang of it, but definitely not a boring workout. Just when I thought I didn't have anymore to give, I look at the timer and see 20 minutes has already passed.
What are the tape measurements?
- Place some tape on the ground that’s 4 feet long.
- From the initial tape, place another tape of 4 feet long parallel to the first one. The distance between the two tapes will depend on your fitness level.
- If you’re a beginner, have a distance equal to 3 steps between the two tapes on the floor.
- If you’re an expert, or you feel like the workouts are too easy, try increasing the distance to 5 steps.
There are 18 workouts after a quick warm up in Agility X
- Explode and Hold
- Y Lunges
- Joel Jump Squats
- Toe Tap Skater
- Near and Farrs
- Ring Around The Posey
- Scissor Kick Jumps
- 8 Sprint 3
- Plyo V Lunge
- High Step Shuffle
- Gump Jump Push ups
- Tap That Line
- Jump Knee Jump
- Triangle Lunges
- Squat Jump Lunge
- 3.4 Run
- Long Jump Sprint
- Plyo Line Push-Ups
So much more intense then yesterdays workout. After a workout like that, I feel like i have earned my Shakeology. Always important to fuel your body with proper nutrients after you have pushed yourself to the max! Today's flavor, Chocolate!! Mmmm. It is extremely important to eat properly when working out this hard to see the results you are working towards. I eat clean and portion out my snacks.

| BRING IT!! |
So what did I think of day two, it was awesome. I got ready by first placing tape on my carpet. I was able to keep up and fell some wheres between the modifier and the others. The only one that that I had troubled with was Plyo Line Push-Ups.

P90X3 Day 1
April 13th 2014 I have started my P90X3 journey. I still have some weight to get off from my February 22nd Southern Caribbean Cruise. I had the time of my life away on vacation, a little too much fun. We ate, we drank and we celebrated. My boyfriend of 7 years purposed while we were leaving the port of San Juan.

Most of you have heard of P90X. This workout came out sometime ago and in that time, Tony Horton has also put out P90X2. The second P90X was for the people who graduated P90X and looking for more. But just like its name, the workouts are 90 minutes long. I work full time, have a family and I don't think I have 90 minutes a day to set aside to work out. Actually, I know I don't.
P90X3 is not a graduate program. You do not have to have P90X or P90X2 under your belt to start this. And the BEST part, its just 30 minutes long!! I can do 30 minutes.

Here are 4 options when doing P90X3. You can do the classic, Mass, lean or Doubles. Classic is the traditional balance of cardio and resistance along with the typical muscle confusion like P90X. You gain muscle, lose fat and feel amazing! This is the choice that I am doing!
Lean is for those who prefer a more toned look. It's not necessarily better for weight loss. Both lean and classic can work equally well. But instead of muscular hypertrophy you'll target functionality, mobility, and cardiovascular fitness. You will still gain some muscle you'll still lose fat, and you'll still get strong, you'll just stay lean.
Mass is for those looking for bulk over getting ripped.
Doubles is another niche rotation. It's not appropriate for everyone and it's recommended you do 90 days of P90X3 before doing this.
I am starting with the Classic. This is where Tony Horton suggests everyone starts out. I am wanting to do 2 rounds of this 90 day program. Start with the classic and then move to the Lean Calendar. I have 1 year to get in shape for my upcoming wedding in Jamaica.

Who needs a Monday to start a new program?! Not me. The programs I have had the most success with always start on any other day then Monday. I don't know why.
Week 1 Day 1
