Day 50 Fit Test Results

For three years I feared Shaun T's Insanity. The infomercial claimed it to be the hardest workout ever put on DVD. What about that statement would want anyone to do it?! I watched it for years, then I decided what the hell, try it! So, I did. I am 50 days in, with 13 more days to go.

I have done 4 Fit tests already with one more on the last day. I am proud of what I have done so far. I haven't taken my measurements yet, but in 50 days I am down 12 pounds! And I can see a difference in the mirror. Looking forward to taking my after pics. I will wear the T Shirt with pride when I get it.

Day 1
Switch Kicks  100
Power Jacks 50
Power Knees 87
Power Jumps 52
Globe Jumps 10
Suicide Jumps 12
Push Up Jacks 13
Low Plank Obliques 40

Day 50
Switch Kicks 129
Power Jacks 68
Power Knees 120
Power Jumps 66
Globe Jumps 14
Suicide Jumps 23
Push Up Jacks 24
Low Plank Obliques 68

I'm happy with that. Lets see if I can change those on day 63.

So the fit test is about 30 minutes. Then I had to do Max Interval Circuit afterwards. Well I was dead after the 90 min torture I placed on my body today. Its all mental. I try not to listen to my head and not give up. Do I scream at the TV? lol Yep. But I haven't had results like this before. Its hard work. But don't give up.

Beachbody products are great. Cheaper then the gym, no excuses like weather or not showered. This is all done at home. No one watching you (no one watches you at the gym, it just feels that way). No wasting gas or the need to do your hair. So many programs to pick from. Do you have me as your beachbody coach yet? Its free. We can pick the best program to work for you. You can also pm me on Facebook if you would like to learn about receiving a discount on Beachbody products like the DVDs or Shakeology.

Would you like to be your own boss? Sit at home and make some extra money? Make your own hours and get products for 25% off? I help others get in shape and get healthy and I LOVE my job.

Time

Having lost over 80 lbs while working full time, I always get the question - How do you have time? The response I always get back - "Well, I can't do that. I  don't have time."  Guess what, I don't have time either. But I make it!

I am a level 2 dental assistant working at the same practice for just shy of 7 years. Amazing staff, great boss and the hours don't suck either. We work 3 days a week, full time. Now your wondering why I said I don't have time. That means I have 4 days off. How can I not have time to eat well, exercise and keep my house in order. Well, those 3 days... I'm working 12 hour days. And those other days, I volunteer to help put charts away at another office one - two days a week. Trying to set up my home business and get my daily tasks done.

I work a 12 hours day and come home, do a INSANITY workout for 60 min. It's not fun. But it comes down to how bad do I want it. "It" being healthy, fit and strong. Well, I want it bad. I want to keep the goal weight I set for myself. I want to keep the body I worked so hard to get. Do I ever want to throw in the towel and stuff my face with sour cream and onion chips with dill pickle dip? HECK YEAH!

I know it's hard to find the time to do anything. Here is what a normal working day looks like for me

  • 5am wake up and shower and get ready
  • 6am eat
  • 7am leave for work (I start at 8 and only live 10 min away)
  • 8am start work
  • 8pm get off from work
  • 815pm INSANITY
  • 930pm bed

Crazy, I know. So when in that mix do I get my meals ready? Sunday. Always a Sunday. I spend about 2 hours in the kitchen chopping, dicing, cooking, preppering , measuring and packing lunches. Not just for me, but for hubby too. Why? So I can come home and relax.

I know this may sounds all so unrealistic in your life. But you have to find what works for you. Getting up at 5 may not work, but maybe 15 minutes earlier if you don't want to pack your lunch the night before. The real key is to be as organized as you possibly can.

Some tips

  • Cook extra  - then lunch is made for the next day
  • Take a day to cook - then freeze meals so they are ready to be cooked when you don't want to cook
  • Unplug from Facebook or the TV - just take 1 hour and get moving. If it's cooking or organizing
  • Exercise - don't have time? I have a answer for you! Actually I have TWO

T25 only 25 minutes a day 5 days a week! Yep, that's it. It's shorter then your favourite tv show.

Answer 2
P90x3
Wait, I have heard of p90x and I heard that's hard and long. Well guess what kids, Tony Horton has come out with a new workout. It's not the same as it was years ago. Another short workout. Just 30 minutes a day. Crazy right. And the results the people have gotten from this short workout are truly amazing!!

Want to try P90X3 and save some dough? Well till December 31st 2013 you can save $90!
I got my copy. When are you going to get yours? Contact me and I will help you push play everyday and get that spring vacation body you have always wanted.

Turbo Fire

Ever feel like a infomercial comes on TV and is talking directly to you? It was a Sunday and I had just ordered Pizza Hut to be delivered. I was just telling Shawn that day I was going to lean up my act again tomorrow and jump back into Turbo Jam. Pizza guy rings the door bell, and I pack my plate full! Because I am starting Turbo Jam in the morning, I should eat all I want to tonight, right? It was a full plate! 2 slices of pizza, several wings and garlic bread. To wash that down, a BIG glass of coke.

I was flipping through the channels and saw a show I wanted  to watch. TV lied. It wasn't a show that was scheduled ... it was a infomercial!

TURBO FIRE

Have done the workout program by the same woman before and LOVED it, my eyes were glued to the TV for the next few minutes. Pizza in hand, up to face but to focused on what was going on in front of me to eat. This wasn't Turbo Jam. This was Turbo Jam to the extreme. A much faster paced workout with even better music!
I knew I was ready. I threw my pizza down and immediately searched for this product that was calling my name.

A few weeks later, I had my hands on this. I was so excited and couldn't;t wait to start. I had everything I needed.
  • The DVDS
  • The Work out Calender
  • The equipment
  • The determination
It was fast paced. I couldn't keep up. Thank heavens for the "New To Class" option. It broke down all the moves and showed me how to do the moves properly. Now, I keep up and give it my all. The times ranged from just 15 minutes to 60. Yep, 15 MINUTES! Crazy, I know. There was discs for cardio, abs, upper body, lower body, stretching and HIIT. The HIIT classes were what I looked forward too. High Intensity Interval Training. Go as hard as you can for up to a minute, then take a minute break.

My friends took notice of my results and asked how. So I showed them. My friends were now doing it with me. What better motivation then friends working out with you. We even had a night we would get together.. "Fire Friday" is what we called it. My friends got in amazing shape for their Miami vacation.
